One of the top cordless battery powered leaf blowers on the market today is the DeWalt 20 volt Max 5.0 blower. It features a brushless motor which is extremely efficient and durable. It also has an axial fan design which puts out more air and maximizes run time. With this blower you’ll get 400 CFM at 90 mph performance. With a touch sensitive trigger and Speed Lock controlling air output is a breeze.

This DeWalt blower is ready to go right out of the box. The included batteries or even half charged so I was able to take it out and start using it immediately. No assembly needed.
The battery on this blower is located directly under the motor which helps balance out the weight of the unit and makes it very comfortable to use. It’s lightweight and ergonomic compact design make this blower extremely easy for anyone to use added minimizes the stress on your arm.
Included with this DeWalt 20 volt cordless battery powered blower is one 20V MAX 5.0ah lithium ion battery and battery charger. This battery system is interchangeable with all of the other DeWalt 20 volt Max tools including cordless drills, battery-powered lawn mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws and many more
One of the things I really like about this particular blower aside from it being very lightweight at 7.1 lb is the low noise output. At full speed this blower puts out only 61 DB which is much quieter then comparable gas powered leaf blowers. If you look very close to your neighbors there’s no reason you can’t use this blower in the early morning hours or evening and worry about upsetting them with the noise.
I also really like the Speed Lock feature which lets you set the speed at a constant rate without having to hold the trigger down. Sometimes you don’t necessarily need to run the blower at full power but controlling it with the trigger alone can be tricky. Setting the speed lock at the desired blower speed lets you blow in areas where you need more control of the air.
There are definitely other blowers on the market such as the Greenworks 80v blower, that have more power, but this DeWalt 20 volt blower produces plenty of airflow to tackle most jobs around the house. If you need a blower for heavy duty commercial jobs you want to check out this list of gas-powered blowers that are more suited for non-residential applications.
